Dumfries House is set to welcome one of Britain’s best-known TV presenters to Ayrshire for a very special ‘In Conversation’ event and book signing this weekend.
Jay Blades MBE, who is also an ambassador for The Prince’s Foundation, will share stories about his life and work during the event, which takes place on Saturday, September 16 from 2.30pm.
The popular presenter visited Dumfries House last year for a special episode of his BBC programme The Repair Shop.
In the one-off special, the repair team - including Jay Blades - visited King Charles at Dumfries House for The Repair Shop: A Royal Visit.
The episode later won a daytime Bafta TV award.

During this weekend's event, Jay will share details of his life, from growing up on a council estate in East London to becoming the face of a number of hit primetime TV shows.
Jay is a champion for restoration and recycling and rallies against throwaway culture, a philosophy that plays out in his public persona and the recent launch of his Jay & Co shops that purvey second-hand furniture restored to a high standard.
Tickets cost £22.50 per person and can be purchased via http://tinyurl.com/DHJayBlades.
