Glenafton Athletic have announced their new manager, just a day after Ryan Stevenson left the club.
The New Cumnock side have been quick to appoint a replacement, with Stevenson's assistant, Mark Roberts, stepping up as the new man in charge.
Roberts had been part of the coaching staff at Loch Park since March 2022.
Glenafton have had a mixed start to the season, with Stevenson's last match coming in a 4-0 loss away to St Cadoc's, leaving the Glens in 13th position in the league and with the worst defensive record in the division.
A statement from The Glens, announcing the appointment, said: "Glenafton Athletic are delighted to announce the appointment of Mark Roberts as our new manager.
"Mark has gained management experience from spells at Ayr United and Queens Park, and he makes the step up from assistant manager to Ryan Stevenson.
"Mark has the full backing of the players and the committee, and we urge our fans to get behind the new management team and players ahead of our Scottish Cup tie against Darvel on Saturday.
"We are also delighted to confirm that the existing backroom staff will remain unchanged."
