Plans have been lodged to install a new accessibly toilet space in Mauchline Church.
The historic building on Loudoun Street would also have a new, small kitchen area built within it, as part of proposals.
An application from Robert Potter and Partners ltd would see the new features installed in the foyer area of the building, close to the main entrance.
According to the application, contractors will liaise with the church to discuss any potential disruption to services that the work might have.
Any disruptions that may take place will be done to ensure the safety of users and staff at all times.
No timescale has been set for any plans, but a determination deadline has been set for Monday, September 25.
View the full plans on the East Ayrshire Council website, by searching the planning portal for application 23/0403/LB.
