Cumnock's Youth Musical Theatre got back on stage this summer for its first shows since the pandemic.
The talented team put on performances of favourites Shrek and Annie.
Having been unable to perform since the pandemic, a lot of hard work went into ensuring these shows were extra special.
Packed houses filled Cumnock's Town Hall, with the watching audiences thrilled with the shows.
Now that it had a tase for it again, the group is planning ahead for what's to come in the weeks and months ahead.
Thea Slimmon, chair of the CYMT committee and group choreographer, said: "We are incredibly proud of our young people and it was fantastic to see the local community come out in force to support them.
"The town hall was jam packed and our audience feedback was superb.
"Our young people have a full calendar.
"After the summer we will complete our project with The Cumnock Tryst bringing the young people's work to life at their concert on October 7 before moving on to our annual pantomime with camps.
"It is a gruelling but ultimately rewarding schedule and we are delighted to be able to provide these opportunities for the young people in our community."
Since reopening in 2022 the group has gone from strength to strength and now offers both junior (P2-P5) and senior (P6-S4) sections.
This year the group are pleased to have been able to appoint directors for both groups and welcomed Morgan Heron and Eva Beattie to the team.
