A kind-hearted football club is on the ball after organising a charity football match for Mauchline youngster Ava Bolton.
Scott and Natalie Bolton's launched a fundraiser when their three-year-old daughter was diagnosed with stage 4 high risk neuroblastoma.
Young Ava is currently six months into an 18-month treatment plan to tackle the disease, and the family is hoping to raise £250,000 to send the youngster to a new vaccination treatment in New York.
The fundraiser has already reached £116,000, and kindhearted locals at Muirkirk Juniors FC are hosting a Celtic v Rangers supporters match to boost the total even further.
The match will kick off at 1pm on Saturday, June 17 and entry will be by donation at the turnstiles.
After the match there is live music in the Juniors lounge from Billy Hamilton from 3pm onwards and entry to the lounge is £5.
There will be a raffle & auction with some excellent prizes up for grabs.
A club spokesperson said: "We are hoping for a good turnout to raise as much as possible for Ava's fund."
