The Cumnock Juniors Fun Day is always a great day out - but when the team have just won the Scottish Junior Cup, it turns into something extra special.
Fresh from their victory over Rutherglen Glencairn on Friday night, the 'Nock players paraded their trophy from the Royal Hotel, up Townhead, to the park on Saturday.
And the crowds were out in force to cheer them all the way - many of them still reeling from Findlay Frye's stoppage time goal which brought the cup to Cumnock for only the third time in the club's long history.
It looked as though the whole town turned out for the big event - and the party continued throughout the day, with the crowds soaking up the sun and enjoying attractions including a football skills challenge, face painting, fun games, a ‘beat the goalie’ contest, a ‘hexagoal’ provided by Kilmarnock FC, plus a kids’ zone, beer tent and hot food.
Photographer Charlie Gilmour was there to capture these amazing pictures from a day - and weekend - that will live long in the memory of Cumnock's supporters.
Don't miss full coverage from the event in this week's issue of the Chronicle - out on Wednesday, June 7.
