Hundreds of tickets have been made available on a pay-at-the-gate basis for Cumnock's  Scottish Junior Cup final match next week.

An additional 500 tickets can be purchased, at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions and under-16s, from the South Stand of Broadwood Stadium.

Cumnock deservedly booked their place in the final after beating rivals Glenafton 4-2 at Meadow Park last month.

It will be Cumnock's chance to add to their two previous cup wins, in 1979 and 1989. They were last in the final in 2008.

The match takes place on Friday, June 2, with a 7.35pm kick-off in Glasgow.

Cumnock fans were left unhappy by this decision, with some saying that it lacked any thought for families of supporters.

One fan said: "Disgraceful decision holding it at that time on a Friday night! Sunday afternoon would be far more convenient for families to attend.

"And also for whoever the winning team is, gives them time to parade the cup/bring it back home for the fans at a reasonable hour. Poor form from the SJFA."
