A PROPERTY company has reduced the asking price for a convenience store in Muirkirk which was put up for sale earlier this year.
The store, on Pagan's Walk, was originally advertised for sale online on Rightmove back in March.
Back then, it was listed with a guide price of £30,000, however that has now been reduced.
Last month, the guide price was lowered to £25,000, suggesting no interested buyer has yet been found for the store.
Being marketed by Prime Property Auctions (Scotland) Ltd, Glasgow, the commercial unit extends to approximately 750 square feet and has a rateable value of £2,450, which means that it qualifies for 100 per cent business rates relief.
The report for the property, which also includes a bathroom, says it has rental potential of £6,000 per annum.
The property comprises a large shop area, a kitted-out store room downstairs, a fully plumbed sink and a toilet to the rear.
The listing says it "would be ideal for a business owner looking for an office or a shop unit".
It also says there is "heavy footfall" nearby, and is "sure to appeal to landlords looking for an affordable commercial investment".
You can view the full listing on the Rightmove website.
