They are now raising money to get treatment for three-year-old Ava in the United States.
The goal is to raise £250,000 to get Ava across the Atlantic for the treatment, with almost £44,000 being raised towards that total already.
To help towards that goal, the team the Mauchline shop have pledged £1 of every hair cut and every hair product they sell for the foreseeable future will be donated towards the cause.
A member of the team said: "Recently we have been made aware of this little girl's [Ava] fight against cancer and the just giving page to raise enough funds for treatment in America.
"We would love to be able to help whatever way we can, so we have decided that every hair cut we will put £1 of our takings in a tub and also every hair product we sell also £1 will go in that tub and all money will go to the family.
"Every little helps and we wish Ava and her family all the best going forward".
Many people in the community have rallied to help towards Ava's goal of raising the money.
