A MUCH-LOVED member of staff at a Cumnock medical practice is set to retire this week.
Jacquie Stewart will be retiring from the team tomorrow (Friday, March 31) after 37 years of nursing service, with almost three decades posted in Cumnock.
A well-known face at the surgery, Jacquie will sign off with the best wishes from her colleagues and the patients she has treated throughout the years.
A Tanyward Muirkirk Medical Group (TMMG) spokesperon and friend of Jacquie's said: "After over 37 years of nursing, 28 of wich involvd the patients of Tanyard Muirkirk Medical Group, our much loved advanced nurse practitioner, Jacquie Stewart, will be retiring on Friday 31st March.
"All the patients who saw her over the years will agree she deserves a well earned rest and has been an amazing part of the TMMG team.
"Jacquie will be very much missed by patients, some of whom she now calls friends, and by all our extended NHS colleagues.
"Congratulations, Jacquie!
"A huge thank you from all of us at TMMG on a standout career and for all your hard work, dedication and friendship.
"Best wishes and good luck on your retirement. We have a feeling we'll be seeing you soon."
