New Cumnock could soon have a new food stall on one of its main roads.
The submission to East Ayrshire Council would see a new hot food takeaway and snack bar located on Castle, behind McKechnie's garage.
An expiry date for the plans is currently Saturday, April 15, meaning any comments of support or objections will have to be made by then.
An outcome of the plans is expected by May 16 at the latest.
The application for the hot food truck, submitted to the council by Mrs Jennifer Craig, would also see five parking spaces erected at the site.
The nearby main road has been subject to some harsh flooding in the past, but the applications states that the site is not within an area known for flooding.
Ayrshire Roads Alliance say that "there is no objection to the application from the flooding perspective as this area is now protected by the ongoing New Cumnock Flood Scheme to 1:200 + CC levels."
No other objections were held by Ayrshire Roads Alliance, and there has been no public objections to the plans so far.
