Part of a Cumnock street will be closed next week, while a one-way system will be temporarily suspended.
Ayrshire Roads Alliance have issued a notice for part of Lugar Street to be shut on Tuesday, March 28.
The closure has a maximum duration of five days, but it's hoped that the work and closure will last from 7am until 7pm on the same day.
The road will be closed from its junction with Tanyard, to its junction towards Barrhill Road.
To save more issues with the current Glaisnock Street closure, the one-way system from Lugar Street to Barrhill Road will be suspended for the duration of the works.
Parking restrictions will be in place along this section of road, while work is carried out.
This move will save drivers having to access Barrhill Road, Drumbrochan Road and Townhead Street.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the notice will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
