A video has been doing the rounds on social media, showing Eton College students visiting Ayrshire around the 1960s.
Eric Dalton's YouTube video, that was originally uploaded five years ago, shows the handful of students arriving in the area at Cumnock train station, which closed in 1965.
They were met at the time by Emrys Hughes, who was a Welsh Labour politician for South Ayrshire and the son-in-law of James Keir Hardie.
The students stayed with families in Cumnock, before tackling a day in the life of a Barony Colliery worker.
During their stay, they also went to a dance at Auchinleck Community Centre, as well as visiting Robert Burns' cottage in Alloway.
They also stopped in to visit the then-new Killoch colliery that had only just opened at the time.
The video then delves into the thriving mining workforce in Drongan, and how some had moved up from England due to the success of the work at that time.
