A Cumnock company is looking out for a talented youngster to join their team through an apprenticeship opportunity.
Shire Housing Association are seeking someone to join as a Modern Apprentice for administration support.
The progressive housing association, based in Cumnock, is seeking someone who can complete a Modern Apprenticeship in Digital Applications.
Applicants must be aged between 16-19. The course will be customised to fit your role and the post is for 12 months.
It could be a great way to learn many different skills and get invaluable work experience whilst earning a salary.
Shire are looking for someone who is keen to learn, can use their initiative and can work well in a team.
The team will provide all of the relevant on the job training and support in addition to the classroom training of the qualification.
Once trained, responsibilities will include:
- Reception duties, greeting customers and visitors as the first point of contact.
- Making and receiving telephone calls and dealing with enquiries
- Managing mail
- Recording repairs
- Processing invoices from suppliers
- Maintaining spreadsheets
- Updating IT systems
