Scottish Environmental Protection Agency have issued a flood warning across Ayrshire.
The flood alert covers the whole of Ayrshire, from tonight at 6pm until 8am tomorrow morning.
SEPA say the flooding cause have impacts of roads, land and could cause travel disruption.
The warning says: "Heavy rain is forecast to affect this area on Thursday evening and overnight into Friday. This could lead to some flooding from surface water and small watercourses, especially where the ground is already saturated.
"Potential impacts include flooding of land and roads, and localised disruption to travel. The greatest risk will be in the north of the area.
"Remain vigilant and remember, it is your responsibility to take actions which help protect yourself and your property.
"Advice and information is also available through Floodline on 0345 9881188.
"This flood alert is now in force until further notice and was sent by phone and sms free of charge to registered customers of our Floodline direct warning service."
