New dates have been announced for anyone whose brown bin was not collected in August due to industrial action.
East Ayrshire Council introduced a garden waste permit of £30 per bin per year last year.
EAC said that this introduction was "following an extensive review of waste management that was carried out to help make our approach to waste more sustainable in response to rising costs and changing legislation."
However, due to strikes earlier this year, some residents missed their pick-up slot.
The local authority has now announced new dates for brown bin collections, starting from next week.
The 240L brown bin (or biodegradeable sacks) is for all types of garden waste and will be collected every four weeks.
Those affected by the Wednesday, August 24 strike action will have a rescheduled date of Wednesday, December 14.
Thursday, August 25 will now be collected on Thursday, December 15.
Friday, August 26 will be collected on Friday, December 16.
Monday, August 29 will now be picked up on Monday, December 19.
Tuesday, August 20 will have theirs collected on Tuesday, December 20.
Wednesday, August 31 will now be collected on Wednesday, December 21.
More information on the rescheduled dates and applying for a green waste permit is available on the East Ayrshire Council website.
