Popular Scottish burger restaurant, Meat in the Middle, is coming to Cumnock this month.
The Aberdeen Angus fanatics teased on their official Meat in the Middle Facebook page at the beginning of October that they were thinking of opening a new store in Cumnock.
"Where should we open next... how about Cumnock?" it read.
Now the official site has announced that it will be arriving in Cumnock, with a dedicated Meat in the Middle - Cumnock page also being set up.
Meat in the Middle have teamed up with Top O The Brae Chippie on Tower Street, to bring their food to the village and surrounding areas.
It is hoped that the collaboration will be ready to go from November 22, 2022.
There were plans for a sit-in restaurant in one of the old bank buildings, but that idea was deemed unviable.
Group directory, Ross Gilmour said: "We changed our business model during the energy crisis from not only opening independant stores, but teaming up with existing food outlets - training them on our products and how to prepare our meals which allows them to service customers to our satisfaction, but at the same time helps the food outlet earn extra income during these unprecedented times.
"Meat in the Middle will arrive in Cumnock around November 22, 2022. I've always had Cumnock in my eyesight to open and we previously looked at a full sit in restaurant in the old bank building but it was not viable.
"The response we've had has been exceptional on the news that we're coming and it's a great strategic move for Meat in the Middle and Top O The Brae.
"We can't wait to be on the doorsteps of Cumnock and surrounding areas and we hope the local community will come along and support us when we open!"
The popular eatery already has locations in Ardrossan, Ayr, Glasgow, Glaston, Greenock and Kilmarnock.
However, its Irvine and Paisley stores are set to close due to rising costs.
