DETAILS have been confirmed of Cumnock's annual Rememberance Sunday parade next month.
Tributes to those who gave their lives in the two World Wars, and in conflicts before and since, will be paid across the UK and the Commonwealth on Sunday, November 13.
In Cumnock, the traditional Remembrance Sunday parade will leave Cumnock Old Church Hall at 2pm on the day, heading to the town's garden of remembrance, where a wreath will be laid by East Ayrshire's Provost, Jim Todd, at 2.20pm.
People are then invited to gather for a short service and wreath-laying at the war memorial witihn Cumnock New Cemetery, on Glaisnock Street, at 2.30pm.
Acts of remembrance will be observed at war memorials and church services across Cumnock, the Doon Valley and Upper Nithsdale throughout the course of the day.
