Dumfries House's educational farm welcomed some new guests this week.
A photograph shared on the estate's official Twitter account shows 10 adorable new rare-breed Landrace piglets who were born this week.
Valentin’s Education Farm was opened in 2017, and aims to give children a genuine farm-to-fork experience, while also focusing on native livestock conservation.
According to Dumfries House, The Rare Breeds Trust worked closely with the estate, introducing animals that would thrive on the farm.
Breeds include Landrace pigs, Scots grey chickens and the Cröllwitzer turkey, a personal favourite of His Royal Highness.
The piglets are looking forward to meeting pupils signed up for The Prince's Foundation's Countryside Careers Day next week.
