A former convenience store in Cumnock is looking for a new owner.
The old Mitchells shop on Forbes Avenue has been up for sale for a few weeks, after permanently closing earlier this year.
It was once the place to go for a morning roll, a newspaper and all sorts of sweet goods.
Any future buyers will have to fork out a reasonable £60,000 for its takeover. The store is being marketed by DM Hall, Glasgow.
A report for the vacant building on Rightmove says: "26 Forbes Avenue is a well presented, detached retail property, broadly rectangular in shape and sub-divided internally to form a retail sales area, kitchen, storeroom and toilet. An indicative floor plan is provided.
"The property has been used as a convenience store and off licence for several years and remains licensed for alcohol sales. Retail fixtures including counter, till and fridges are included with the sale.
"The takeaway kitchen is fully equipped including extraction canopy, fridges, hot plates, prep tables and a sink unit, amongst others, all included within the sale.
"The net internal floor area is 61.18 sqm (659 sqft), or thereby."
It adds: "Offers in excess of £60,000 are invited for our clients heritable interest to include fixtures and fittings.
"Each party to be responsible for their own legal costs incurred."
