Cannabis with a street value of around £800,000 has been discovered in a police raid in Patna.
The cultivation discovery was made yesterday (August 15) when officers from Ayrshire’s Pro-Active Crime Team executed a warrant at a property in Patna and found the huge haul within.
As yet, no arrests are believed to have been made, with enquiries ongoing and anyone with any information is being urged to come forward.
Detective Inspector Grant Currie, of Ayrshire Pro-Active CID, said: “Our enquiries into the cultivation are ongoing and I would urge anyone with any information that could assist to contact us as soon as possible.
“Police Scotland is committed to disrupting the illicit supply of drugs in our communities and we will use every tool and tactic at our disposal to remove these illegal substances from our streets.
