Daldorch House in Catrine have met the required improvements given to them by the Care Inspectorate, after the watchdog revisited the support centre last month.
After a mainly positive report after a visit back in January, the house was given areas to improve on by the time the watchdog returned.
These included ensuring that systems in place to ensure people get medication are safe and effective, and ensuring that safe infection control practices are always followed.
Both of these requirements were to be met by February 15. Both were met, but slightly outwith the timescale given.
Despite that, the new report published on April 19 said that it could see that clear action had been taken to resolve past issues.
It read: “Regular medication audits are being carried out by managers indicating a time line for any improvements and signed off when completed.
“It is clear to see that this cycle of auditing is improving practice and understanding of what is required in relation to recording practices.
“Cleaning schedules have been updated to give clearer guidance on what has to be completed and when.
“This enhances an understanding of what is required, and assists with the auditing process.”
