Great work has been continuing at the ‘Wee Forest’ with a new gate, fence and enclosed space now being used at the site next to the Barony Campus.
Last week, a number of Robert Burns Academy pupils helped plant trees in the area.
An access gate has been incorporated into it, with benches also set to be included, to turn it into a teaching area when the school returns after Easter.
One hundred tagged trees within the Wee Forest will be monitored by pupils along with other wildlife.
