An Ayrshire-based entrepreneur is launching a new app which he hopes will help local businesses grow and make it easier for them to connect with customers.
It will allow users to search for whichever business they need, sorting results by how close businesses are to you.
Founder Nathan Quinn says he was inspired to create the app after hearing that a business local to him was going to be closing.
He said: “In the wake of Milkies cookies closing, I aim to keep the community spirit alive that I experienced building Milkies.
“I realise that our local community is extremely supportive and if we can all come together, we can all help each other. The more we use Loop and get people on it, the more it helps grow businesses
and provide a very useful local service for everyone.”
He continued: “The app is simple, quick and efficient.
“It helps users easily find and support local businesses without having to search Google, where most local businesses can’t rank or on social media where it’s clunky and
difficult to find anyone that is reliable.
“The goal is for users to open up the app and find any business they need that’s closest to them, quickly and with zero faff.”
The app is currently available to download from: www.linktr.ee/loopapp or via the Google Play and the App Store.
