Contract bosses have said that work at the new Netherthird Primary School site is progressing on time.
Work on the year-long project started last September, and the brand new facility’s opening has been earmarked for September 9, 2022.
Some companies had voiced concerns about the ability to source materials, leading to fears that the primary’s finishing date could be pushed back.
However, Keir Construction, who are carrying out the work, have confirmed that is not the case.
A spokesperson said: “The construction of Netherthird Primary School is progressing to schedule, with handover due in early September 2022.
“The new school is scheduled to open its doors to pupils after the October half-term break.”
