Valued workers from The Knowe Garden Centre in Auchinleck have been lending their support to the Action Plan group by getting various key jobs done in the lead up to Christmas.

The Action Plan group purchased seven large flowering cherry trees to plant on Sorn Road to replace old broken trees and the garden team have been working to remove weeds and moss, funded by Auchinleck Community Development Initiate (ACADI) who are supporting the group to tidy up the neglected plant areas.

Kaye Hannah at the centre said: “It’s giving the team a great sense of community and pride in where they work. John, Jordan, Scott and Kyle live in Auchinleck so they’re all keen to see the trees planted before Christmas and blooming in spring.”
