Mauchline ECC have been exploring the great outdoors and doing their bit for charity by taking part in a range of fun activities.
Outdoor learning recently took place for the ECC children where they searched for different animals that they might find in the woods, used their imagination to find dinosaur footprints and participated in risky play.
Dressed in hats, gloves, cosy onesies and high vis jackets so that they wouldn’t get lost, pupils climbed across tree trunks, put their welly boots to good use by wading in puddles and climbed up leafy mounds in the woods.
There were smiles all round as kids discovered parts of the woodland walk that they had not come across before.
Back indoors, as part of health and wellbeing, the children participated in jump start Jonny to keep them fit.
They also held a Pyjama Friday in the ECC to finish off celebrating book week and also for Children in Need.
Well done to all pupils for their wonderful efforts.
