An Auchinleck-based paranormal investigation team has raised more than £1,000 for a new horse training centre which recently opened nearby after hosting an evening of spiritualism.
Paranormal Footprints, made up of co-founders Sam and Shelley from Auchinleck, Johnny from Drongan and Sharon from Kirkconnel, are a group of paranormal investigators who regularly visit castles and other spooky sites to find out the history – or mystery – that lies within.
They helped Fossilfield Training Centre, which provides training to youngsters who wish to work professionally with horses.

A spokesperson said: “Medium Louise Finlay and friends opened the evening with psychic readings followed by Paranormal Footprints themselves who gave a short demo of their ghost hunting apparatus.
“The evening raised £1,300 and was well supported by friends of Fossilfield Training Centre.
“The money will be used for our Youth Development programme. This is a sponsored 10 week personal development opportunity for local young people aged between 14 and 19 to become valued team members involved in the rehabilitation of racehorses.”
