Sanquhar Town Hall played host to a special table top sale last weekend, with buyers and sellers warming themselves up for the upcoming Christmas fayres.

Crafty people, young and old, took to their stalls to sell everything from baked goods to stylish lamps, and the turn out reflected just how interested residents were in getting their hands on some authentic items and produce.

Committee member Daryll said: “The newly painted town hall held a table top sale and it was a great success.

“There were stalls from local people selling hand made items and a few from visitors selling their items. It was a very successful day.”
