AS WINTER approaches, unvaccinated people are being offered the chance to get their first and second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
With a large number of people attending appointments for Covid booster and seasonal flu, the drop-ins for first and second doses will take place at the set times of 9-11am and 4-6pm.
Drop-in at the following clinics: November 17 at Grand Hall, Kilmarnock, Greenwood Conference Centre, Dreghorn, John Pollock Centre, Ayr; November 18 at Grand Hall, Kilmarnock, Greenwood Conference Centre, Dreghorn, Ayr Racecourse; November 19 at Galleon Centre, Kilmarnock (9-11am and 1.30-3.30pm), Gavin Hamilton Sports Centre, Darvel, Greenwood Conference Centre, Dreghorn, Ayr Racecourse; November 20 at Galleon Centre, Kilmarnock, Brooksby Medical & Resource Centre, Largs, Nethermains Community Centre, Kilwinning, John Pollock Centre, Ayr; November 21 at Grand Hall, Kilmarnock, Ardrossan Civic Centre, Girvan Community Hospital, John Pollock Centre, Ayr.
NHS Ayrshire & Arran Public Health Director Lynne McNiven said: “It isn’t too late to get protection before winter really starts to set in.”
“Everyone age 12 and over is now eligible, so if you’ve missed your appointment or recently decided you want to be vaccinated then you can take advantage of the opportunities available.”
