Cumnock Juniors’ brand new team were given the VIP treatment when their main side met with Clydebank at the weekend – and the youngsters made a definite impression on and off the pitch.
CJFC 2016’s had the opportunity of a lifetime at Townhead Park on Saturday [November 6] when they met for the West of Scotland Football League (WOSFL) Premier Division fixture between Cumnock Juniors and Clydebank.
Cumnock Juniors evidenced their family club philosophy as the players, management team and officials rolled out the red carpet to the young players and their families.
As well as experiencing a tour of the amazing facilities at Townhead Park, the rising stars visited the home dressing room to meet their heroes before escorting them down the famous ramp prior to kick off.
The day was made complete with an opportunity to play a small sided game at half time in front of both sets of supporters.
Kevin Orr, Club President, said: “Cumnock Juniors belongs to and sits at the heart of our community. These youngsters are the future of our club and opportunities like this can be life changing.
“We want to see as many children and families as possible in Townhead Park.
“Everyone is welcome here and we pride ourselves on excellent hospitality and the ultimate match day experience.”
