Lochside House Hotel, Spa and Lodges finally celebrated the refurbishment of its restaurant with a spectacular launch night, complete with dancers, a saxophonist and plenty of food and drink.
The renovation of Afton Restaurant in New Cumnock has created a stunning new bar lounge area and restaurant with a mix of booths and high and low tables, making it the perfect space for luxurious afternoon teas, cocktails and delicious dining.
With floor to ceiling windows, panoramic views of the Loch o’ th’ Lowes and added greenery throughout, the new restaurant brings the outside in – and staff couldn’t wait to mark its grand opening with some very lucky diners.
The launch event, which took place on September 23, featured a specially selected menu as well as entertainment from a live DJ and Sax and Samba Dancers.
Owners Robert and Vivienne Kyle, said: “We have loved seeing our customers’ reactions to our newly transformed restaurant and have enjoyed welcoming our returning customers as well as many new guests.
“We thank every one of our customers for the continued support as always.”
The Rad Hotel Group first purchased and renovated their flagship Lochside House Hotel, Spa and Lodges in 1999. Since then, it has become an award-winning wedding venue, and the group has developed into a portfolio of six venues throughout Scotland.
A RAD Spokesperson said: “We’ve had a lot happening at Lochside in the past year and all our recent renovations have been a huge success with our original vision being brought to life and so much more.
“We were finally able to give the new Afton Restaurant the official launch it so greatly deserves. We invited old and new customers as well as some VIP guests to celebrate with us and everyone who came along had the most wonderful evening.
“We created a luxurious special menu for the event which all our guests couldn’t praise highly enough. As well as getting to enjoy some mouth-watering food, guests were also entertained from start to finish with our guest DJ, live sax player as well as some very special samba dancers.
“We are thrilled by the feedback we received on our refurbishments and are grateful for all the support.”
