A New Cumnock scout group recently received a grant from the community wind farm fund to help cover the cost of members’ and leaders’ personal insurance.

The money will also be used to purchase Scout uniforms.

Iain Burgoyne, leader at the 45th Ayrshire New Cumnock Scout Group, said: “This was very much appreciated by all involved with the group and would like to thank everyone involved in accepting and awarding us the grant.”
