AN AUCHINLECK couple have donated more than £3,000 to Ayrshire Maternity Unit’s Labour Ward Bereavement Team in memory of their son.
Molly Duncan and her partner Kieran Campbell raised £3,157.84 by walking up Ben Nevis on July 24. Following the loss of their son, Ruairidh, in April 2020, the pair wanted to show their sincere gratitude for the care and support they received from the Ayrshire Maternity Unit team at such a difficult time.
Caroline Blake, clinical midwife manager neonatal services, said: “We’d like to say a huge thanks to Molly and Kieran. The donation will be greatly appreciated by the families using our services.”
