‘Sticky Fingers’ children's club will run throughout the school holidays - bringing lots of fun and laughter to kids in Auchinleck this summer.
The kids club will take place every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11am-1pm within the Leisure Centre situated on Sorn Road. An enhanced programme of activities has been planned in close collaboration with staff from Active Schools and Auchinleck Community Development Initiative’s STEP Team to provide a fun-filled summer for local children.
Thanks to funding from ‘Cash for Kids’ and the government's ‘Get into Summer’ initiative, children will take part in a variety of activities including arts and crafts, sports, music, games and outdoor learning.
Attendees will also have an opportunity to participate in a range of exciting activities including pony riding, Sumo wrestling, ‘Spooky Week’ and a Fun Day. An outing to Clark’s Little Ark in Sanquhar is also planned.
Sessions start on Tuesday, June 29 and will run three days per week until Thursday, August 5. All sessions are free.
All children attending the club will be provided with a healthy packed lunch courtesy of East Ayrshire Council.
As places are limited, all children MUST be registered before attending. Registration for ‘Sticky Fingers’ Summer Club should be completed by clicking here.
