Catrine PS got LOST in tree-planting this week as they began planting 150 trees as part of a new Greening the Estate project being piloted with seven East Ayrshire schools.
East Ayrshire school green gym project officer Lindsay was thrilled to be working with the Catrine PS pupils and their supportive staff to plant 150 trees as part of efforts by LOST (Learning Outdoors Support Team) to ensure schools become more green.
P5-7 pupils had a brilliant morning in the sunshine tree planting with Lindsay Twilley from TCV and Lorna Sloan from the John Muir Award.
The woodland created will become a resource that the whole school can enjoy.
