Cumnock community councillors were back out doing their bit for the community and for the local environment this week.
They managed to clear a massive amount of household rubbish which was found in Skares Road.
Councillors Hugh Murdoch and David Elliot spent some time bagging and clearing the household rubbish which included discarded toys, prams and scooters.
The pair undertook the tidy-up on the sunny day of Thursday, October 1 - the weather undoubtedly making the task a bit easier.
Community Councillor Neill Watts congratulated the pair on their efforts, saying “well done both”.
