A NEW scheme has been set up by Glenafton Athletic in a bid to raise vital cash to help the club.
‘Spare Ten to Help the Glen’ was launched last week by the New Cumnock club to encourage fans to donate £10 and help meet costs.
The club have been left without any revenue due to the coronavirus pandemic but still need to keep up with ground maintenance and paying bills.
Glens have announced the formation of ‘Glenafton Athletic Members Club’ which has been designed to help raise funds for the club.
Fans get involved with the new members format by donating £10 a month.
As part of the scheme, they will also be given access to a draw each month to win two tickets to a match at Loch Park with hospitality and annual draw with a cash prize of £500.
It comes as Glens, who have won two Scottish Junior cups in their 90 year history, make the move into the new West of Scotland League pyramid system.
