Cumnock JUNIORS have officially been declared the winners of the Donate-a-Ticket Cup after storming to victory once again in the final of the online tournament.
After four rounds of the Donate-a-Ticket Cup, the Nock faced Bonnyrigg Rose last weekend in the final.
Once again the Nock’s supporters were immense in their fundraising efforts and at close of play it was confirmed that CJFC had secured a 282 – 114 ticket sales victory over their east coast opposition.
Donate-a-Ticket was set up during lockdown as a way of giving extra support in the form of financial aid to football clubs while their usual funding was stopped due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Throughout their Donate-a-Ticket campaign, Cumnock Juniors has sold more than 2600 ‘tickets’, marking them as the clear victors against rival teams such as Glenafton Athletic and Whitehawk Football Club.
A spokesperson for Cumnock Juniors said: “The Nock would again like to thank all its fans for their incredible support in sustaining their local club.”
