Lockdown restrictions are still in place across Ayrshire as hospital admissions continue to fall.
As of last night, 41 patients were being treated for suspected or confirmed coronavirus, with eight in intensive care.
There have been 912 positive tests in Ayrshire, an increase of eight since yesterday.
Yesterday, Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced changes to the lockdown restrictions but today, Nicola Sturgeon reiterated that those announcements do apply to Scotland.
She said this was not for 'any political reason'.
The First Minister said: "The Scottish Government is not yet confident that these changes can be made in Scotland yet without the risk of the virus running out of control again."
The only change that has happened in Scotland is a relaxation of the once-a-day limit on exercise.
Ms Sturgeon said: "This does not allow people to meet up in a park or at the beach."
2,795 deaths have been registered in Scotland where COVID-19 was mentioned in the death certificate, and 1,862 people who tested positive for coronavirus have died.
Ms Sturgeon said: "I don’t like standing up here each and very day, announcing figures of people who have died.
"It’s the worst thing I’ve ever had to do."
She said she wants the public to have a bit more patient and bit more sacrifice to make sure the efforts to suppress the virus will succeed.
