POLICE in East Ayrshire are appealing to locals to stay out of the disused Loudon Castle Theme Park.
Local officers recently highlighted issues surrounding theft and antisocial behaviour at the disused theme park in Galston.
Since their last appeal people continue to attend the park and some have been causing damage and breaking into property.
Locality Policing Sergeant Craig Wallace said: “Despite the recent post discouraging criminal damage and anti social behaviour at Loudoun Castle Theme Park the behaviour of some continues to cause concern.
“Please remember that this site remains a commercial business and there is heavy plant and other machinery in operation.
“On Friday, July 12, local officers attended the park and found there were 16 vehicles within. 10 of these vehicles left immediately.
“13 people were found within the park allegedly having caused damaged to several buildings, windows and fencing within the park.
“This behaviour is not acceptable and will not be tolerated. The area is extensively covered by CCTV and those 13 people involved have been reported to the Procurator Fiscal for their alleged involvement.”
