WEIR - Jean McGuffie Aged 89 years, formerly of 10 Knowe, Mauchline, while resident in Glennie House, Auchinleck, after a short illness, went home to be with the Lord Jesus on 31st January 2024. Though gone from our sight, her life of good deeds, loving service and kindness to others, along with her fun, loving, joyful personality continues to bring encouragement and hope to all who knew her. Jean is survived by her two sons Gordon and Wilson, her four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A short Graveside Ceremony will be held on Thursday 8th February at 1pm in Mauchline Cemetery followed by a Service of Thanksgiving in Mauchline Parish Church at 1.30pm. Afterwards a light lunch will be served in the Fairburn Hotel, Mauchline.
