MITCHELL - Shirley (Ballantyne) Peacefully at home on 5th June 2020, aged 71, beloved wife of Bobby Mitchell for 48 years, mother to Jane, Aileen and Pamela, died in the loving care of her husband, daughter's Aileen and Pamela after many weeks of attention from the district nurses of Cumnock and Crosshouse to whom we extend our appreciation for their professionalism and compassion.

Shocked to read of Shirley's passing. We were friends back in late 1960s... alas I moved away and around the world and lost touch. Only just found her on Fb a short time ago, unfortunately too late. My sincere condolences to her husband Bob, her daughters and family.
