Crowds gathered in Cumnock on Sunday (August 18) for the return of the Woodroad Park fun day.
Organised by the Woodroad Park and Leisure Group, the day built on the success of last year's event by making this time around bigger and better.
Woodroad Park and Leisure Group, in conjunction with Cumnock Action Plan 2022 and beyond, have plans to bring people and families back to the park, and upgrade the facilities on offer through time.
Future upgrade hopes include bringing back the park's tennis courts, an upgrade to the playpark and creating a new activity hub.
This weekend's entertainment included the likes of stalls, face painting, pipers, fire engines, inflatables and more.
The Woodroad Park and Leisure Group is being chaired by Cumnock and New Cumnock Councillor, Neill Watts, who has been vocal about his hopes of improving the vision of Woodroad Park for a long time.
Talking about the weekend's fun, he said: "As Chair of the Woodroad Park and Leisure Group I would like to thank all of the local organisations, groups and individuals who helped to make the event a fantastic success, it was real community spirit and teamwork.
"It was also great to see our community come out in the sunshine in large numbers to enjoy the day which was absolutely fantastic.
"The event was opened by myself and the Deputy Provost Claire Leitch."
