An early downpour didn't stop the people of Cumnock and the surrounding areas from enjoying the weekend's carnival fun.
Organised by Cumnock Community Council, the carnival made its return on Sunday (May 26) following a successful debut last year at the Ayr Road car park.
The day offered fun rides for the kids (and adults), food stalls, raffles, games, a fire engine and much more.
Building on from last year's festival, the community council hope to make it an annual fixture, bringing back the kind of event Cumnock once had in the 70s and 80s.
Unlimited ride wristbands were available on the day for only £5, as the community council looked to make the day as accessible and affordable as possible.
Bruce Lorimer, of Cumnock Community Council, said: "Cumnock used to have a great history with things like this and stuff happening up the woodroad, so that's why we want to make it annual event."
