A number of dogs at Islay Dog Rescue near Cumnock are currently looking for their forever home.

The team work tirelessly to ensure that rescue dogs are ready to be rehomed to a loving family.

The centre is currently full, with the team looking for prospective dog owners to step forward.

Here's a selection of the dogs they have in Ayrshire centre's care.

Cole


Cole is a Staffie and Greyhound mix who is approximately one year old.

He is neutered, good with other dogs, could live with cats and children over eight.


Luigi


Luigi is a three-year-old crossbreed.

He is neutered, good with female dogs. He could live with cats, but not children.


Cuba


Cuba is two-year-old female French Bulldog.

She is good with other dogs and cats, as well as children over five years.


Rumy and Ryan


Rumy and Ryan are two-year-old Saluki males.

They are neutered and could possibly live with calm, female dogs. They are untested with cats and could potentially live with kids over 12.

Due to their nature, it may be best of they are homed separately.


Shep


Shep is a German Shepherd between one and two years old.

He is neutered and could possibly live with other dogs following a successful introduction.

However, he is untested with cats and would not be suitable for a home with children.


Astrix


Astrix is a two-year-old Pomeranian male.

He has been neutered and could potentially live with other dogs and kids over the age of 12.

He is untested with cats.
