Pups in attendance at the Dumfries House dogs show earlier this week have been captured in all their glory by a talented photographer.

The annual event was held on Wednesday in front of another bumper crowd.

This year, the event was in aid of Scottish charity Bravehound, which provides assistance dogs to veterans struggling with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder or physical injuries as a result of their military service.

Dogs of all ages, shapes and sizes turned up to compete in a number of whacky categories, including waggiest tail, dog that looked most like their owner and best rescue dog.

Alexa McCall was in attendance, along with her own German Shephard, Ragnar, and she captured some excellent images of the four-legged friends om the day.
