A76 near Mauchline (Google Maps)
A car has been up in flames on the A76 just outside of Mauchline.
Emergency services are at the scene just before Bargower riding school on the road to Kilmarnock.
Police Scotland officers were made aware of a car on fire on the A76 between Crosshands and Crossroads around 2.05pm on Friday, 15 April.
Officers have assisted the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service with traffic management at the scene.
The car is on fire on the side of the road heading towards Mauchline.
Scottish Fire and Rescue Service have also been approached for comment.
