OVER 200 sheep have been killed in a horror accident on the A76.
It comes after a lorry transporting the farm animals flipped between Sanquhar and Thornhill.
The driver of the HGV suffered minor injuries from the collision near Enterkinfoot at about 22:50 last night.
Police scrambled to the scene shutting the road overnight.
Officers reopened the road at 05:30 on Tuesday and have appealed for information from witnesses.
